Born in Ukraine, Dr. Grynyk came to the United States as a child on her parent’s hope for a better future. Growing up, she attended Ukrainian school every Saturday to stay connected with her family and culture.
She went on to pursue her bachelors degree in biology from Binghamton University, and later her doctorate from the SUNY College of Optometry.
Dr. Grynyk is passionate about managing all forms ocular disease, and completed a residency in Ocular Disease with an emphasis on Retina and Glaucoma at the Baltimore Veterans Hospital and Johns Hopkins University.
In order to stay up to date with cutting edge treatments for her patients, Dr. Grynyk completed her fellowship with the American Academy of Optometry, and is an active member.
In her spare time, Dr. Grynyk enjoys ballroom dancing, playing volleyball, and taking care of her cat, Nika.
New to the area, Dr. Grynyk is excited to help the people of Staten Island and the greater New York City metro area to maintain their eye health for years to come.
